NEW ZEALAND tasting notes

May 2019

Find our favorite tasted wines in each vineyard. Of course it’s very subjective, and everyone has its own preferences. It also depends on the moment of the day, the food you eat with, the people sharing this special moment and many other things!

CLOUDY BAY

Cloudy Bay, Te Koko, Sauvigon blanc 2015

We really liked this sauvignon blanc, with a nose of exotic fruits (pineapple, mango) and a real length in the mouth. We liked the fresh and balanced attack with grapefruit and lemon notes and the evolution is fruity and tasty! We loved the slightly woody finish.

We loved its very aromatic nose, with aromas of almost candied red fruits (strawberry, cherry), as well as chocolate and caramel! We also have a light woody aspect that adds complexity to the wine. The tannins are supple and well integrated.

We loved this wine, different from the French Riesling but with beautiful notes of flowers (rose), lime, and lemon as well as a bit of petrol on the nose. We liked the amazing grany apple flavours on palate. A good balance between sweetness and acidity
